The campus sits adjacent to the Great Mall of the Bay Area between I-880 and I-680. The building addresses are 637, 677, 727, 777, 847, 927, 1007, 1077 and 1177 Gibraltar Dr. Flextronics signed a 10-year lease, according to Westcore.
Westcore did not reveal the sale price or negotiated lease rate and Flextronics has not responded to requests for comment or made any filings with the SEC regarding the deal. The company is scheduled to file its third quarter report at the end of the month.
Dan Hollingsworth of CPS/CORFAC International, who brokered both sides of the transaction, also could not be reached for comment. Neil Johnson, director of acquisitions for Westcore Properties in Northern California, says in a prepared statement that Flextronics' long-term lease and strong credit "make this an attractive investment."
