Following the merger with Colliers, Bradco will transition overto the Colliers brand and be known as ColliersInternational-Bradco. Brady will be senior vice president anddirector of Colliers International in the High Desert.

According to Carla Gazzolo, senior managing director forColliers International in Greater Los Angeles, Colliers sought themerger to capitalize on the growth that is projected in the InlandEmpire. "With Los Angeles and Orange Counties being almostcompletely built out, development will continue to move eastward,"Gazzolo says.

Colliers has been monitoring the High Desert region for morethan 10 years and sees the merger as a way to "allow us to create amore integrated real estate market for our clients in the GreaterLos Angeles area," Gazzolo adds. Brady says that the deal withColliers appealed to him for several reasons, including the firm'sinternational platform, its company culture and comprehensiveservice portfolio.

According to Brady, one of the key drivers for ColliersInternational and the Bradco Cos. collaboration will be recruitmentof new and existing commercial brokers throughout SouthernCalifornia. Rick Chichester, president, North America, of ColliersInternational, says that the acquisition of Bradco "allows Colliersto fill gaps in our service model that we offer in the markets thatwe have not been able to reach."

The High Desert region includes the areas of Victorville,Barstow and Hesperia. Bradco's range of services in the regionincludes the lease, purchase and sale of commercial, industrial,residential, agricultural and ranch properties, as well as mobilehome parks, self-storage facilities and apartment complexes.

Since 1993, the Bradco Cos. has published the Bradco High DesertReport, which reports news and analysis of economic trends in theregion. The report will now be available to all Bradco and Colliersclients.
