NORTHLAKE, IL-WEG Electric Motors Corp., based in Brazil, hassigned a seven-year lease for 79,288 sf at Northlake One, 635Northwest Ave. The manufacturer and distributor of electric motorsand parts will use the industrial space as its Midwest distributioncenter for the company's North American operations, says SusanWehrenberg, VP of industrial leasing for Duke's Chicagooperations.
The lease begins March 1, she says. Duke owns the 414,000-sfbuilding, which is part of the Northlake Distribution Center. BrianCarroll, with Grubb & Ellis, represented WEG. John Suerth andJason Lev, both with CB Richard Ellis, represented Duke.
