Williams-Sonoma recently occupied a 950,000-sf building at theGrand Crossing development, where it will take 230,000 sf inanother building beginning in February. The site will be a key hubfor products sold through the direct-to-consumer catalog ande-commerce sites of Williams-Sonoma, whose operations include 584stores, seven mail order catalogs and six e-commerce websites; theretailer operates under the names Williams-Sonoma, Pottery Barn,Pottery Barn Kids, PBteen, West Elm and Williams-Sonoma Home.

The transaction was brokered by Kent Valley and Hank Darnell ofMajestic. Terms were not disclosed, but the asking rate for theGrand Crossing space is about 45 cents per sf per month,triple-net.

The ODW Logistics lease is a long-term deal for the space atMajestic Spectrum. ODW, which specializes in shared logistics,contract logistics and transportation services, recently acquiredthe Olson Co. as a means of jump-starting its move into theCalifornia market, says Trent Wylde, regional director ofdevelopment and leasing for Majestic.
