SHI was represented in the transaction by SVP Steven Fleming, VP Shawn Straka and associate John Buckley of the Murray Hill office of the Staubach Co. The buyer was represented in-house, and the sale price was not disclosed.

"We're pleased to have completed this sale for SHI, which coincided with the company's move to its new corporate headquarters in a major expansion," Fleming says. "The company is now located at 33 Knightsbridge Rd. in Piscataway, a transaction in which we also represented SHI."

As reported by GlobeSt.com, SHI bought the Piscataway facility a year ago from BET Investments for an undisclosed price. That number was later revealed to be $12.3 million. The company completed its move across the Raritan River this past December, now occupying 105,000 sf of the 153,000-sf building, with existing tenant EasyLink continuing to occupy much of the rest of the space.

The company's former headquarters is currently vacant, and new owner Ambani Realty has not disclosed its plans for the asset. Competitive space in the surrounding market is currently listed with asking prices in the $20-to-$23 range. Located in this township's Somerset section, Two Riverview Dr. sits on just less than six acres at the corner of Weston Canal Rd. and Apgar Dr., just off Exit 12 of I-287. Features include a bronze glass facade, a three-story atrium lobby and parking for more than 250 cars.

The company in the middle of the transaction, SHI, continues in a major expansion mode. Software House International is a corporate reseller of software, hardware and related services.
