When complete, the mall in the country's capital city will have the capacity for 150 retail units, including supermarkets, food courts, and leisure facilities. Located between the cities of Tirana and Durres, and in close proximity to the Tirana National Airport, the mall is expected to serve a consumer base of 1.4 million people.

"The Albanian market has acquired the institutional and financial standards of a modern economy," Dimitris Voutsas, director of retails services for Colliers International Hellas, says in a prepared statement. "We are of the opinion that the first international companies to establish their presence in the Tirana retail market will have immense benefits."

In addition to leasing services, Colliers International will also provide management services for CityPark Tirana. Philip Bay, regional director of Colliers International Southeast Europe, says that CityPark Tirana, "will set new standards for excellence in retail in Albania."

AM Group is one of Albania's biggest companies. It was founded by Artan Mene in 1991, and its brands include Deka chemicals and Olim oil products.

In other news from Colliers International, Ma³gorzata Trzaskowska has been named director of the retail department at Colliers International Poland. She will be responsible for managing the department, supervising leasing processes, and building and maintaining relations with key clients.
