Urban Realty Advisors principals William Herman and Eric Maywill be leading the newly expanded Development Services team atMonument. "We bring to the table a national presence--a number ofour clients have national requirements," Herman tells GlobeSt.com.New services will include project management--from conceptualplanning through final occupancy--as well as development andbrokerage services for third-party clients. Advisory and consultingexpertise will include due diligence, feasibility analyses,financial strategies, and asset management for single propertiesand real estate portfolios.

URA also has strong green bona fides, having served as nationalreal estate advisor to Service Employees International Union as itcompleted redevelopment of its 200,000-sf internationalheadquarters at 1800 Massachusetts Ave., which has been certifiedas LEED-Gold. URA also oversaw the leasing and tenant fit-out of22,000 sf in the same building for US Green Building Council's ownheadquarters, certified as LEED-Platinum; and 31,000 sf ofLEED-Gold tenant space for the United Nations Foundation.

Currently, it is overseeing the second phase of a Downtownheadquarters renovation and expansion for Change to Win, apartnership of seven affiliated unions; providing due diligence andowner representation for a multiple hotel acquisition, assisting inthe development and redevelopment projects for Thayer LodgingGroup; and providing advisory and brokerage services for Aronson& Co.
