"Adrian has been instrumental in the planning and implementation of many of Accor North America's most important IT projects," said Jeffrey Winslow, chief information officer for Accor North America.
Butler led the network upgrade project that moved Accor North America from a slow, outdated data network to a high speed, more robust VPN-based network powered by DSL and Internet circuits. Butler was instrumental in all phases of the project from serving as the company champion; planning, budgeting, and implementing the initiative; working with his technical teams to design the architecture; to negotiating the required contracts; and executing the new network design.
The new network upgrade project allows Accor to tap into new and enhanced capabilities for its hotels, including Accor's e-procurement system performance, e-learning tools and guest services such as Wi-Fi.
