The goal of the partnership is to introduce this small mid-Atlantic state--with a particular focus on Wilmington's Riverfront--to new investors. "We are looking forward to bringing a new audience to a new Wilmington," says Mark Hughes, owning partner of BFP Sotheby's International Realty.

The first efforts will focus on the River Tower at Christina Landing and Justison Landing--respectively a luxury multifamily and a $400 million dollar mixed-use development with on the riverfront with 700 residences, 300,000 sf of office and 75,000 sf of retail. Other Buccini/Pollin Riverfront projects include a 140,000-sf retail center under development, which will include a ShopRite--the city's first major grocery store for downtown and riverfront residents. The company is also revitalizing Market Street, Wilmington's historic corridor.
