"Mike and I share the same passion for breathing new life intourban communities and town centers," says Silverman. "We have knowneach other for years. When looking for a president, we were keenlyfocused on identifying someone whose aptitudes complementedmine."

Formed in 1989, the company focuses on adaptive reuse andhistoric renovation projects with an aim of revitalizingneighborhoods and town centers. Among residential projects thecompany has undertaken include Lovejoy Lofts and Copenhill Lofts inAtlanta and Brumby Factory Lofts in Marietta. Commercial projectsinclude Meeting Park and Buckhead West. "I look forward to being apart of and helping to shape Winter Property's continuedevolution," Fallon says.

Fallon previously served as president of the Southwood Corp. andUnited Properties Group. Southwood did not comment on the move. Healso founded and headed the national corporate consulting divisionat Cushman & Wakefield, where he served as SVP. Prior tojoining Cushman & Wakefield, he served in VP positions atHoward P. Hoffman Associates--the real estate consulting subsidiaryof Lehman Brothers Kuhn Loeb--and Investors Central ManagementCorp. He began his career with official positions in the realestate divisions of both Chemical and Chase Manhattan Banks.
