O'Hara and Nunley also operate RE/MAX Gateway in Gilberts, ILand development company Gateway Properties of Illinois LLC, basedin Lake in the Hills, IL. "As developers, we wanted to add thecommercial brokerage business to the development business," O'Harasays.
RE/MAX Gateway, which handles commercial and residential realestate, will continue to operate but O'Hare and Nunley felt it wasimportant to open an office that dealt solely with the commercialside "Having the residential component in the office, we feeldilutes our impact in the commercial market," O'Hara says. Thereare a total of 40 Remax offices across the country that arespecifically focused on commercial real estate, O'Hara says. Someof the other offices that deal exclusively with commercial realestate are in Indianapolis, New York City and Los Angeles, hesays.
