The project included the addition of five operating rooms, whichwere integrated with the hospital's existing surgical departmentand the addition of 20 patient rooms in the Adult Surgical HeartUnit. The project also included the addition of a testinglaboratory, central sterile department, physicians' lounge and a245-seat auditorium and conference center was also added to thehospital for clinical education, according to a company statement.The hospital's neonatal and prenatal intensive care units were alsorenovated as part of the project. HDR was the projectarchitect.
