Corn, who joins JLL as an executive vice president, will workwith Kevin Roy and Drew Auker-Lincourt in launching the healthcarecapital markets unit, with all three based in JLL's San Diegooffice. Roy and Auker-Lincourt have joined the team as associateand analyst, respectively. The healthcare team will partner withKenneth Rudy, managing director of Jones Lang LaSalle's CorporateCapital Markets Group and Don Hamilton, managing director of JLL'sNational Healthcare Practice.
Earl Webb, CEO of Jones Lang LaSalle's Capital Markets Group,points out that real estate represents almost 60% of the assets andoperational expenses of the average healthcare provider. He notesthat Corn has worked with major hospital systems around the countryin analyzing their portfolios to maximize value.
