Nordstrom's full-line department store in Hawaii was joined by 80,000 sf of shops including Bare Escentuals, Janie & Jack, lululemon and J. Crew-on-the-Island. The center now houses more than 290 stores in 2.1 million sf. Other anchors are Neiman Marcus, Macy's and Sears.
"We work hard to establish Ala Moana Center as more than just an amazing destination to shop and dine, but also a fun, vibrant place where people can come together and enjoy the company of family and friends," said Dwight Yoshimura, SVP for the company, in a press release. "Ala Moana Center is a great gathering place for locals and visitors alike to enjoy our islands' unique culture and environment."
