The Enclave, which is the first apartment complex in OrangeCounty that the Irvine Co. has developed outside of the boundariesof the Irvine Ranch, features more than 20 floor plans, rangingfrom studios to two-bedroom units, with rents ranging from themid-$1,500s to the mid-$2,600s. The units range from approximately550 sf to more than 1,400 sf.

The 40-acre site also features park space, an outdoor theater,resort-style salt-water swimming pools and other amenities. Theapartments, about half of which will be smoke-free, are withinwalking distance of the South Coast Plaza, the Orange CountyPerforming Arts Center and the South Coast Repertory.

Max Gardner, president of the Irvine Co. Apartment Communities,says that the company saw "not just one reason but dozens" ofreasons to choose the Enclave's location for the company's first'off-ranch' project in the county. He says the Irvine Co. haswatched with interest the maturation of the South Coast Metro areaand believes it's an outstanding example of smart growth.
