"We originally leased 12,000 sf at 777 New Durham Rd. to alaboratory that was bought by TestAmerica, which then expanded into42,000 sf over the years," says David Zimmel, president of thelocally based Zimmel Associates. Zimmel has had the exclusive onthe building on behalf of its owners, a partnership, for more than20 years.

"The space includes offices, lab areas and a small warehouse,"Zimmel says. "Its location is directly off I-287." TestAmerica hasits headquarters in Buffalo and lab locations all over thecountry.

The deal is part of a total of nearly 87,000 sf of activitygenerated recently by Zimmel Associates. At Raritan Center I withinRaritan Center here, Zimmel represented AmWINS, a wholesaleinsurance distributor, in a relocation and expansion totaling13,000 sf. Landlord Summit Associates, headquartered in thebuilding, was represented in-house by Vincent Visceglia.
