A GE Aviation spokesman tells GlobeSt.com that his company isopen to any offers. "We're not actively looking to leave wherewe're at, but people have approached us. We've been in thesefacilities for 20 years, so we're not in a hurry. It could take us18 months to decide," he says.

The company is ensconced in 650,000 sf in five buildings onMerchant Street, including 400,000 sf in Executive Centre One andThree, says Jeff Tulloch, development director for Springdale. Hesays the city would offer incentives to keep the company in town."They've been a good, long-term corporate citizen," Tullochsays.

Other Cincinnati suburbs are fighting to attract the company,including Evendale and Liberty Township. Rumors are also swirlingabout the company being interested in Duke Realty's South Pointe atUnion Centre in West Chester, as GE has leased 50,000 sf in CentrePointe I in the city. The $50-million South Pointe project isexpected to have two 150,000-sf office buildings.
