Bamonte and Sanchez will be part of Cushman & Wakefield's Client Solutions practice. They will be responsible for the marketing and leasing of Airport Corporate Center, which is located in the Airport/West-Dade submarket and has more than one million sf of office, office/showroom and warehouse space. Officials from CB Richard Ellis did not comment on the move.

A spokesman for Cushman & Wakefield tells GlobeSt.com that the company recently secured the leasing assignment for Airport Corporate Center, which was previously handled by CB Richard Ellis. After the change, Bamonte and Sanchez joined Cushman & Wakefield.

"The addition of Richard Bamonte and Janette Sanchez Driggers compliments our growth plans for the Miami market," says Cushman & Wakefield of Florida senior managing director and manager Tere Blanca, in a prepared statement.

The new hires reflect a push by the company to increase its Client Solutions, or landlord representation, practice. Since 2004, the Client Solutions' management and leasing portfolio has more than doubled in size, from four million to just under 10 million sf. The company recently opened an office in Palm Beach County and hired two new people for that office. "They're looking to expand even further throughout the tri-county area," the spokesman says.

Bamonte has been involved with South Florida real estate brokerage since 1980, having represented landlords and tenants in more than 400 office space lease transactions totaling more than 2.5 million sf. Throughout his career, he has represented numerous owners of office properties in Florida, including Hines REIT, GE Asset Management, Lend Lease, Equitable Real Estate and the Florida Office Property Co.

Sanchez Diggers has experience in commercial market analysis, accounting and property management expertise. As an office brokerage associate, she has been involved with nearly 300 transactions totaling more than one million sf with international, national and regional tenants.
