A partnership of Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide Inc.and Milwaukee-based Continental Properties Co. Inc. is developingthe $35 million Aloft Hotel in the Rosemont Walk district. Theproperty, one of Starwood's new boutique hotel concepts, is justminutes from O'Hare International Airport. The hotel will feature9-foot-high ceilings in a loft-like ambiance, with high-techconnectivity in each room. A sky bridge is connecting the hotelwith a parking garage.

"The Rosemont Walk development and the overall strength of theO'Hare market is a great location for this new, upscale,select-service product," said Paul Seifert, VP with Continental.The village's $500-million Rosemont Walk development is a 60-acreretail development.
