The expansion is also notable in that it was designed to meetLEED certification, according to the developer. Constructionelements including the largest pervious concrete paving project inthe US, eco-conscious storm water management, rain water recyclingirrigation and reduced water consumption.

New retailers moving into the space include Adidas FactoryOutlet, American Eagle Outfitters, Burberry, COACH Factory, katespade, Kenneth Cole, Juicy Couture, Lucky Brand Jeans, PUMA,Skechers, Tommy Bahama and True Religion Brand Jeans. Thisexpansion is part of Baltimore-based Prime Retail's plans to eitherdevelop, renovate or expand some 1.5 million sfof outlet centers in several states as well as in Puerto Rico overthe next two years. According to an earlier GlobeSt.com interviewwith Prime Retail president Bob Brvenik, demand for change in thisspace is driving the company's construction and developmentpipeline.

Other developments include a $35 million, 90,000-sf expansion ofthe 250,000-sf Prime Outlets St. Augustine in Florida. The projectwill increase the retail center's size by 35%, for a total of340,000sf, making room for and 90 new and remerchandisedstores.
