Heery, which maintains offices locally in Los Angeles and LongBeach, will manage the construction of phase one of the WestHollywood Park master plan, the West Hollywood City Hall CommunityService Center and parking project and phase one of the PlummerPark master plan. Since the city is pursuing LEED certification foreach of the facilities, Heery will be in charge of monitoringsustainable initiatives and ensuring that LEED criteria are met,says Heery project manager Daniel Adams.

Phase one of the West Hollywood Park master plan will includeconstruction of a 42,000-sf library to replace the city's existinglibrary, a 2.5 acre expansion of green space, new tennis courts anda 333-space municipal parking garage. Designed to meet LEED Silverrating criteria, the library and the West Hollywood CommunityService Center may incorporate a photovoltaic system to convertsunlight into electricity.

The 18,000-sf West Hollywood Community Service Center andparking project will house a community service center, meetingrooms and office space built atop a multi-level, 200-space parkingstructure. During its construction, Heery will also overseeexterior improvements to the existing, adjacent city hallbuilding.
