Sharper Image has seen better days. The company filed forbankruptcyearlier this year after quarters of dismalsales.Now the retailer has put itself up for sale. This brings us to the question: Who would findSharper Image attractive right now?Well, we've certainlyseen some wacky proposals out there in the market as of late.There's Blockbuster's bidfor Circuit City. And Sears' earlier offerfor Restoration Hardware wasn't something that the industry waspredicting. (It ended up being bought by a private-equityfirm.)Could the Sharper Image situation bring forth something evencrazier, like say, a grocer bidding to buy the gadget chain? Orwill no one see a market for continued sales of air purifiers andmassage chairs?
