The ALS Association was represented by executive managingdirector Jonathan Larsen of Transwestern and Suzanne Lee, a vicepresident with the tenant advisory team. Building owner Mid ValleyProperties represented itself. The ALS Association provides supportservices to the ALS community and is involved in funding andpromoting ALS research.

In the Chicago School of Professional Psychology deal, theschool has signed a 125-month lease for space on the eighth floorof a historic building at 617 W. Seventh St. in Downtown L.A. Thenew Los Angeles location marks the graduate school's firstexpansion outside of Chicago, according to Larsen, who teamed withTranswestern's J.D. DeRosa in representing the school.

Larsen says that the school chose Downtown L.A. after performinga site selection analysis and examining several different markets.Among the advantages of the building are its location in thebusiness district of Los Angeles, across the street from The HyattRegency Hotel, with easy access to all freeways, major bus, MetroRai, and DASH stops, Larsen says. The building owner, 617 7thStreet Associates LLC, was represented by Jon Zanetos and MarkO'Brien of CB Richard Ellis.
