[IMGCAP(2)]The Thousand Oaks racing facility will be MB2 Raceway's second. Its existing track is located in the Cascades Business Park in Sylmar, CA, and is reportedly the area's largest single facility of its kind. Chris Brooks, owner of MB2 Raceway, describes the move to Ventura County as a strategic expansion for the company. "The area includes a lot of young people and families, and the overall demographics are strong," Brooks says.

[IMGCAP(3)]The Thousand Oaks raceway, which he said will be slightly larger than its Sylmar counterpart, is expected to be operational in mid-May. MB2 will employ approximately 35 workers at the site, which will feature a one-quarter mile road race course. The building is owned by Voit Conejo Partners LLC, which was represented by Nick Gregg and Ken Ashen of CB Richard Ellis.
