Its existing track is located in the CascadesBusiness Park in Sylmar, CA, and is reportedly the area's largestsingle facility of its kind. Chris Brooks, owner of MB2 Raceway,describes the move to Ventura County as a strategic expansion forthe company. "The area includes a lot of young people and families,and the overall demographics are strong," Brooks says.

[IMGCAP(3)]The Thousand Oaks raceway, which he said will beslightly larger than its Sylmar counterpart, is expected to beoperational in mid-May. MB2 will employ approximately 35 workers atthe site, which will feature a one-quarter mile road race course.The building is owned by Voit Conejo Partners LLC, which wasrepresented by Nick Gregg and Ken Ashen of CB Richard Ellis.
