Evergreen CEO Luke McCarthy comments, "Tracy's talents arerequired to supervise approximately 250 employees and on-siteproperty managers involved in the sponsorship of real estatesecurities and the management of properties valued at $1.5 billionin our investors' portfolios." Since early last year, Thomson hasbeen directing the property management activities for Real PropertyServices, which has supervised most of the on-site propertymanagement for Evergreen since the 1990s, McCarthy points out.

In her new posts, Thomson will supervise all day-to-dayoperations for Evergreen's sponsorship of 1031 exchanges, realestate investment trusts, direct acquisitions and note/equitysecurities offered to qualified investors nationwide throughregional securities firms. McCarthy says that in her time at RealProperty Services, Thomson has streamlined the asset management andproperty management operations for 35 properties in which Evergreeninvestors have an interest through private securitiestransactions.

[IMGCAP(2)]Before joining Real Property Services as COO and CFO,Thomson spent nine years overseeing more than 40 public and privatecommercial real estate partnership-reporting operations to the SECand the former NASD, now FINRA. From 1990 to 1997, she was CFO andoperations manager for a public and private commercial real estateportfolio with 24,000 investors. From 1978 to 1989, she heldoperating officer, financial officer or senior consultant positionswith real estate securities sponsors and institutional investors incommercial real estate.
