Julie Mertins, assistant VP of leasing with Prime Group RealtyTrust, represented Prime Group in the lease renewals. XO has been atenant in the building since October 1997 and renewed its lease for32,210 sf, Mertins says. Alex Smith, with Cushman & Wakefield,represented XO in the lease transaction. Jon Springer and TimReynolds, both with CB Richard Ellis, represented ClearblueTechnologies in the lease transaction. Clearblue Technologies hasbeen a tenant in the building since October 1999 and renewed itslease for 16,780 sf, Mertins says.


The building at 800 Jorie Blvd. and the 64,296-sf building at810 Jorie Blvd. have a combined occupancy rate of 43%, Mertinssays. Other tenants include AboveNet Communications Inc. andNorlight Communications. The former Chicago Bridge and Ironbuildings have visibility from 22nd Street and are near the OakBrook Shopping Center.
