Julie Mertins, assistant VP of leasing with Prime Group Realty Trust, represented Prime Group in the lease renewals. XO has been a tenant in the building since October 1997 and renewed its lease for 32,210 sf, Mertins says. Alex Smith, with Cushman & Wakefield, represented XO in the lease transaction. Jon Springer and Tim Reynolds, both with CB Richard Ellis, represented Clearblue Technologies in the lease transaction. Clearblue Technologies has been a tenant in the building since October 1999 and renewed its lease for 16,780 sf, Mertins says.
The building at 800 Jorie Blvd. and the 64,296-sf building at 810 Jorie Blvd. have a combined occupancy rate of 43%, Mertins says. Other tenants include AboveNet Communications Inc. and Norlight Communications. The former Chicago Bridge and Iron buildings have visibility from 22nd Street and are near the Oak Brook Shopping Center.
