PCM of California previously managed AVCA from its inception in1982 through 2005, notes Ross Chun, president, Aliso ViejoCommunity Association. PCM of California also oversees AVCA'scommercial centers, community parks and extensive common areas.

Michelle Burge, chief financial officer for ProfessionalCommunity Management, points out that PCM has opened a new on-siteoffice in Aliso Viejo. Burge notes that before taking overmanagement for AVCA, PCM created a new logo and community Internetsite for AVCA and its members. The Web site includes acommunication system that allows association members to receivecommunity updates, issue maintenance requests and contact propertymanagers.

The Aliso Viejo contract follows other new recent managementassignments in which PCM added 3,731 units to its propertymanagement portfolio, including condominium projects in Irvine,after gaining new clients in Orange County, the Inland Empire andSan Diego County.
