Headquartered in Houston, Teppco Partners' only terminals are arefined product facility in Aberdeen, MS and a refined product anda 500,000-barrel transport terminal currently under construction inBoligee, AL. When the three Tennessee terminals are completed in2010, they will have 800,000 barrels of storage capacity forgasoline and biofuels as well as offering improved truckinglogistics.

"The addition of these new terminals represents the continuedsuccessful implementation of our strategy to develop a network ofrefined products distribution facilities along inland waterways inthe southeastern United States," Jerry E. Thompson, president andCEO of Teppco Partners, says in a press release. "Beginning withthe purchase of our 130,000-barrel terminal in Aberdeen, MS andcontinuing with construction of the partnership's 500,000- barrelterminal in Boligee, AL, these facilities are well positioned tobetter serve the local markets."

A spokesman with Teppco says the added benefit of the Boligeeterminal is that it's close to Colonial Pipeline in Alpharetta, GA."The new products supplied from Colonial will interconnect atBoligee. The barges going up and down the river system will load atBoligee, then transport the products to the new terminals we'rebuilding," the spokesman explains to GlobeSt.com.
