LAKE WORTH, FL-Palm Beach County brokerage NAI/Merin Hunter Codman has been awarded assignments for the leasing, property management and supervision of the capital improvement program for the 100,000-sf WaMu Centre at 2601 10th Avenue N. The assignments were won by the brokerage team of C. Todd Everett and David W. Knott.

According to a release, Washington Mutual Bank originally occupied the entire four-story office building but has significantly downsized its space. NAI/Merin will be looking to lease up to 75,000 sf on behalf of its institutional owner, with asking rents ranging between $12 and $14 per sf triple net.

"Large tenants interested in centralizing their operations on one floor have limited opportunities in Palm Beach County," Everett, the brokerage's managing director, said in a release. "The WaMu Center offers large floor plates and at a significantly lower cost than office space in Downtown West Palm Beach."

Everett notes that the building is in close proximity to Palm Beach International Airport and is less than a mile west of Interstate 95. NAI/Merin Hunter is the largest commercial real estate brokerage firm in Palm Beach County and advises on all commercial property sectors.
