Colliers, which offers both exclusive tenant representation andland development, has retail specialists located spread throughoutits Bay Area offices, which include San Jose, Oakland, Pleasanton,Walnut Creek, Santa Rosa, Solano, Sacramento, Stockton, Fresno andBakersfield. The addition of retail expertise to the San Franciscooffice completes the company's effort to enhance its retailservices throughout the Northern California market.

Neither McMasters nor Thomas Lawwill, managing director of theSan Francisco office, was immediately available Tuesday forcomment. "San Francisco represents one of the key retail marketsnationally and is a focal point for most of the Internationalretail community," McMasters says in a prepared statement. "Addingretail to the existing scope of services … is a pivotal moment inthe Colliers International San Francisco Office."

James McMasters is joined in San Francisco by Colliers SeniorAssociate Laura Michel and Steve Amano. Michel has 20 years ofcommercial real estate experience that for the last five years hasbeen focused on retail services. She joined Colliers in 2005 andhas been based out of the Walnut Creek office. Amano, new tocommercial real estate, has seven years of experience inresidential real estate.
