The developers are aiming for LEED Gold certification for theCampus at Playa Vista buildings, which are being designed byGensler and will be surrounded by 20 acres of park space. Uponcompletion of all phases, the 1.6 million sf at the campus willinclude the redevelopment of more than 500,000 sf of historicbuildings. Financing for the development is being provided byCalifornia National Bank.

Located in the eastern portion of Playa Vista, the Campus atPlaya Vista is adjacent to the intersection of Jefferson Boulevardand Centinela Avenue in West Los Angeles. The site includes ahistoric district built by Howard Hughes that was home to theHughes Aircraft Co.
