CARLSTADT, NJ-While Consolidated Carpet will continue to maintain its executive offices in Manhattan, the company is making a major change for its main operations center. That operation has been in Brooklyn for three decades, but now will be moved to New Jersey, and specifically to the 81,000-sf industrial building at 455 Washington Ave. here.

Consolidated has acquired the single-story asset for its corporate operations center and sales office, in a deal that closed in June. The 22-year-old facility was formerly occupied by lessee Allied Envelope and the seller was original developer Russo Development of Hackensack. The broker was Greg Sholom of locally based Team Resources; the sale price was not disclosed.
