That assignment has gone to Newmark Knight Frank, and it encompasses two light industrial buildings totaling 108,000 sf. The site, once occupied by Carter Wallace and Federated Metals, whose buildings have been demolished, has been renamed the Enterprise Ave. Industrial Park.
"The plan envisions a light industrial/commercial center that will include a new public greenway along Assunpink Creek and the relocation of an existing rail spur," says Greg Rogerson, a principal of the Asbury, NJ-based JGPCO. "It's anticipated that the development will include green and sustainable design elements, and significant streetscape and infrastructure improvements by the city."
Steve Tolkach, managing principal in NKF's Princeton office, who's heading the assignment, says that "we anticipate substantial interest in the opportunity it represents. It not only provides easy access to Route 1, but also benefits from its location within Trenton's urban enterprise zone."
