The Tribune Co. had been in negotiations with the Illinois Sports Facilities Authority to acquire the stadium. However, the company has ended negotiations with the ISFA, according to a released statement from the Tribune Co. Representatives from the Tribune Co. did not return a phone call seeking comment.
There have reportedly been 20 offers for Wrigley Field at 1060 W. Addison St., in addition to 10 offers for the Chicago Cubs team or team and stadium. Inland has $21 billion of assets under management and more than 100 million sf of commercial real estate under management.
