Principal David Bercu and SVP Carter Andrus, both with ColliersBennett & Kahnweiler Inc.'s industrial services group,represented AMB Property Corp. in the lease transaction. BenCremer, with NAI Hiffman, represented the furniture in the leasetransaction.

Ashley had contracted for distribution with Affinity Logistics,a third party logistics company, which leases 165,000 sf in thebuilding next door to 750 Veterans. However, the furniture sellerdecided to do its own distribution, and signed this new lease,Andrus says.

The building was constructed in 2007 and has 32 exterior loadingdocks and 30 feet clear ceiling heights. The property has immediateaccess to Interstate 55, Andrus says. Ashley is the sole tenant inthe building with the rest of the facility available. The askinglease rate is $4.50 per sf, he says.
