Belden Wire and Cable has signed for 16,287 sf for its headquarters for its Americas division. The new HQ is consolidating smaller offices in Indianapolis and Richmond, IN, says Tag Birge, FVP and Midwest regional director for Lauth, the building owner. Andy Martin with Colliers Turley Martin Tucker represented the tenant, and John Vandenbark with CB Richard Ellis represented Lauth.
Also, Ameriprise Financial is leasing 6,800 sf. Ed Troha with CBRE represented the tenant and Vandenbark again represented the owner. The asking rate for the building is $22.50 per sf, Birge tells GlobeSt.com. The facility was finished last year.
The building is part of the three-facility Meridian Corporate Plaza office park, with a total of 330,000 sf. The entire park is 92% leased, Birge says. Tenants include Bose McKinney & Evans, Hartford Fire Insurance Co., the Pillar Group and Walker Information.
