"Dade Paper will be an excellent addition to our park," Massie Flippin, Liberty vice president and city manager in Charlotte, stated in a release. The company will be a tenant in the 303,200-sf Boulder II building at 6530 Judge Adams Rd. and was represented by CB Richard Ellis in negotiating the lease.

Miami-based Dade Paper is a leading paper products distributor serving the US, Puerto Rico and the Caribbean. The company has nearly 1,000 employees at eight distribution centers and a dozen sales offices.

The Boulders is located near the Eastern Painter Boulevard loop near Interstates 40 and 85 in Rock Creek Park. Liberty says the three-building complex, which also includes the Boulder I and Berkshire buildings, is currently 87% leased.

Malvern, PA-based Liberty Property Trust has a total office and industrial portfolio of 75 million sf in 20 metropolitan markets. In the Southeast, it owns more than five million sf in Charlotte and High Point, NC, and Greenville, SC, plus numerous buildings and business parks in Florida.

The REIT was recognized earlier this summer as Developer of the Year by the National Association of Industrial and Office Properties. The award will be formally presented at NAIOP's annual conference Oct. 22 in Las Vegas.
