Geoffrey H. Edmunds, president of Geoffrey H. Edmunds 3000 California LLC, cites "continued interest and an extremely positive response from home buyers and the brokerage community" despite the current economic conditions."The developers say that move-ins are imminent at the project, which is located at the intersection of Jamboree Road and Campus Drive. Retailers scheduled to open in the fall will include the Urban Ranch Market, a market and deli for everyday groceries; Phan 55, a Vietnamese restaurant; Fukada Japanese restaurant; Coffee,Craft & Deli and Plaza Dry Cleaners.
The luxury condominium project is the third tower in the 13-acre master-planned development that also includes The Plaza-Irvine. The 3000 The Plaza tower features units ranging from 1,375 sf to 3,025 sf.
Designed by the architectural firm MV&P International, with landscaping by SWA and interior design by Parisi Portfolio, the 15-story tower includes 11 levels of single-story residences over enclosed parking. Ten penthouse units sit at the top of the tower.
