The developer of the proposed project is the Cranbury, NJ-based Verde Group, and that company's president, Todd Ochsner, has rolled out plans that include a mix of retail space, a restaurant, commercial office space and medical offices in a total of five stone-wall buildings. Approximately 5.5 acres would be set aside as a conservation area, with a park, walking path and tree-heavy vegetation. The cost of the project has not been disclosed.
For the Verde Group, the town center project marks its second in this township. Five years ago, the company began developing Windhaven, a residential community around preserved farmland.
