The "electronic lightship" is essentially a blimp with a2,100-sf lighted electronic screen. Utilizing an array of lightemitting diodes, the lightship features a 70-foot by 30-foot aerialtelevision screen that can broadcast a multitude of media from livetelevision and streaming video, to web sites and static images.

Such a display might have been less remarkable when Vegasdevelopers were pulling out all the stops--before the credit crunchand other economic problems put the brakes on development in LasVegas and elsewhere. Now, however, it underscores how M Resort isone of the projects that remain on track, according to itsdevelopers.

As GlobeSt.com reported earlier this month, M Resort, Spa andCasino is fullyfunded and on track for its early 2009 debut despite thetroubles that have plagued other developments. Anthony Marnell III,the developer, told GlobeSt.com recently that all necessaryfinancing and fixed-price construction contracts have been in placesince the start of construction of the project, for which atopping-out ceremony was held recently.
