The London hotel, called W London-Leicester Square, will open onthe West End in the latter part of the year. It will include 194guest rooms and a 10-unit Residences at W London-LeicesterSquare.

Starwood is partnering with Northern Ireland-based constructionfirm McAleer & Rushe Group on the development, which is part ofa £ 160-million ($284.3-million), 10-story mixed-use project. JonesLang LaSalle Hotels represented Starwood in the deal.

The 160-room W Manchester hotel will be located in that city'swarehouse district. That will also be part of a mixed-use projecton which Starwood is partnering with developer West Properties UK.Called Origin, it will also feature 62,000 sf of offices and 180apartment units.
