Cindy Shepardson, vice president of operations for Western National Property Management, comments that the firm has worked closely with Klug for many years and envisions that the new regional VP will play a key role in bolstering the firm's business development. In addition to working for Sares-Regis Group, before joining Western National Klug also worked for Irvine Apartment Communities where she was responsible for overseeing the advertising and marketing for a portfolio of 25,000 units, including the development and lease-up of 15 new properties.

Western National Group is a 45-year-old multifamily acquisition, development, construction and property management firm. The Irvine-based company manages approximately 21,000 multifamily units in the Western US and is the second-largest owner of multifamily housing in Orange County. Western National Group is the umbrella over three separate entities, Western National Realty Advisors, which is the development and acquisition arm of the firm; Western National Property Management, which is the property management arm; and Western National Contractors, which is the construction arm.
