Webgistix currently has three distribution facilities in theEastern US and one in Ireland to deliver fulfillment services fore-commerce retailers. The new facility, which Webgistix says isexpandable to 100,000 sf, will focus on online retailers whoseorder volume exceeds 1,000 shipments a month.


The details of the lease agreement were not immediatelyavailable on Sunday. The asking lease rate for space in thedevelopment is $0.58-$0.62 per sf (NNN), including a 3% tenantimprovement allowance. The leasing agents for the building arePatti Dillon, John Doherty, Jesse Welling, David N. Frear and JaredWerline, all with Colliers International. Frear also is listed asthe managing member of an LLC that owns a 3.3% stake in thebuilding.


Unlike traditional fulfillment companies that process ordersmanually, Webgistix says its software automates the entirefulfillment process such that there is almost no humanintervention, which it says improves order accuracy, reduces costsfor retailers, and accelerates the delivery of merchandise toconsumers.
