The 30,000-sf project on the first floor created new offices, atraining center and several conference rooms, as well as mechanicaland electrical upgrades. "As part of the build-out we put in avideo-conference center," Bill Olson, a senior project manager atWise Construction, tells GlobeSt.com. "So they don't have to travelas much. They can video with their [other office] in Barcelona andmanufacturing in Windsor" or Montego Bay, Jamaica. Barcelona isVistaPrint's European Marketing office.

The original fit-out from a shell building was roughly210,000-sf, running about $10 million. The final 30,000-sfbuild-out started in May of 2008 and finished in October at a costof $1.8 million. The property is altered from a multi-tenantfacility to a single-tenant, citing company growth as the reasonfor expansion. VistaPrint did a phased move-in. The first phasetook place in August and the second phase happened in October, asthe build-out delivered.

"When VistaPrint first moved into the space at 95 Hayden Ave.,we had plans to build-out the first floor, similar to the otherthree floors in the building," a VistaPrint spokesman explains toGlobeSt.com. "Essentially we executed on an existing plan and arevery pleased with how the project was completed."
