The latest National RetailFederation report on holiday spending says, get this, thatholiday sales will experience their lowest increase since 2002. Youdon't say...Actually, we're surprised that ANY increase ispredicted at all, let alone a 1.9% rise over last year. Accordingto its survey, consumers will spend $832.36, up from $816.69. DoYOU know anyone who's spending MORE this year?Nearly 70%of those polled said they will be shopping primarily at discountstores this year. Big surprise.
