The Hyatt Regency is situated on 13 acres and features 654 guestrooms, with a 17-story atrium and approximately 65,000 sf ofmeeting space. The hotel will retain the Hyatt Regency brand andwill continue to be managed under a long-term agreement with GlobalHyatt Corp.

Molinaro Koger's Samantha Fisher and Rob Koger marketed thehotel and structured the transaction. Fisher is vice president ofMolinaro Koger's Los Angeles office, and Koger is the Washington,DC-based president of MK.

Koger says that the hotel attracted "significant attention frominvestors around the globe," based on "its merits and impressivecontinued growth in RevPAR and rate within the Orange Countymarket." Fisher calls the acquisition a tremendous opportunity forInland in light of its location "in one of the world's top leisureand corporate markets."
