"We're completely gutting and converting the existing, olderoffice building into their new office space to meet their needs,"Adam Miller, president of Summit, tells GlobeSt.com. "They werelooking for a building that was very flexible and had a lot ofspace and parking on site. They looked at a lot of other buildingsin the area and at building a new building, and this was the mosteconomical choice for them."

The design of the remodeled building will offer AFN a glassatrium entrance to the space, which will include huddle, conferenceand training rooms, private offices, an executive board room, andan open office area. Once renovated, the facility will also offer aheated parking garage and parking lot for an additional 200 cars,an outdoor grilling area, and a workout facility, including lockerrooms, a steam room and shower area. Cornerstone Architects Ltd.provided design services on the project.

AFN was founded in 2003 by Ryan Daube and Mike Nervick, and hasin the past five years grown from three employees to more than 100today. Future expansion was planned for in the company's search fora new facility, and its Niles headquarters will have the capacityto house more than 300 employees. The company acquired the propertyfor an undisclosed price in September from a church group thatformerly owned the building. AFN will leave the space it previouslyleased in Deerfield in early 2009 to move into the newproperty.
