Action Emco has hired Jones Lang LaSalle to find a tenant forthe space, which is being marketed as non-divisible with anegotiable rental rate. The direct lease runs through February of2014. JLL's Hasbrouck Heights office are handling the assignment,along with managing directors Robert Kossar and David Knee; and VPsChris Hile and Blake Chroman.

"It gives interested tenants an opportunity for immediateoccupancy of warehousing and distribution space in the Meadowlandssubmarket," Kossar says. "Besides its proximity to the ports, theproperty's close proximity to Manhattan makes this a great locationfor companies that need to travel into the city on a dailybasis."

Action Emco's space, which includes 15,000 sf of office andshowroom area, is part of a 316,000-sf, 23-year-old industrialcomplex located within this city's urban enterprise zone. Thecompany ceased operations here in mid-October, an action thatincluded layoffs of more than 100 employees.
