EARTH CITY, MO-Two leases were recently signed at the Earth City Industrial Center, a 166-acre master-planned distribution park at the intersection of Interstate 70 and Earth City Expressway. Furniture distributor John Louis Inc. and logistics provider Superior Freight Services Inc. have taken more than 93,000 square feet in two buildings in the park, both of which are owned by ProLogis.

John Louis leased 70,000 square feet in Building Seven. The company will use the space for international distribution, says Cheryl Muniz, a VP with ProLogis. Superior has taken 23,300 square feet at Building 10, where it will operate the space on behalf of Hussman, a refrigeration and food merchandising equipment manufacturer. Muniz says she can’t say what the exact rates were, but says average leases range from $3.90 to $4.30 per square foot in the park.
